Abstract

[eng] Abstract Rationalization may be seen as the way works were organised so as to produce fluidly, and was introduced a continuous flow of production even in branches which were not fit fot it, like ingeniering. At first rationalization was elaborated through European méthodes. From the first world war and because of it, American methods, such as Taylorism and Fordism, were included into this process. After the Second World War Europeans industries added mass consumption, i.e. production of new industrial goods sheap enough to be bought by the underpriviledged, to mass production. Rationalization had a paramount influence on workers' condition as soon as the first world war.
