Abstract

[eng] Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyse the assessment procedures of approximately forty autobiographical texts in seven different linguistic domains : German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Polish. The objective is to find out for what sort of users they are designed, and with what intentions, to define how the texts are described, classified and indexed, and within what generic and temporal limits. It will also try to find out whether the texts in question are published or unpublished material, before ending with a more developed table of the situation in France, followed by a detailed appraisal of the analysed assessments.
