Abstract

[eng] Local work markets in the Rhône-Alpes - In the course of the last ten years, the Rhône-Alpes has lost 100,000 industrial jobs, more than the Lorraine or the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Until now, however, the rise in unemployment has been contained in particular thanks to the creation of tertiary jobs, a catching up in under-represented tertiary work and the tourism in the Alpine region. In the zones of old industries, victims of the reconversion crisis, the flow of entries into unemployment is rapidly growing and departures difficult. On the other hand, in the Lyon region or in the zones of Annecy and Vienne, for example, the employment situation is better : the rates of registration at the National Agency for Employment are lower than the national average and departures from unemployment are made easily. The extensiveness of the tertiary sector in Lyon particularly facilitates access to the job market for women.
