Abstract

[eng] Income from securities and property is very inequally distributed - Fiscal sources allow the observation of income that households receive from their patrimonies, which in turn offers information in part on the patrimonies themselves. This article essentially takes into consideration securities and property income to the exclusion of all income received from the specific operating of professional patrimony. The distribution of this income is very concentrated: the 8 % who declare the most account for 90 % of the total mass. The largest incomes from inheritances are received by households of the self-employed and non-working population. And even in certain cases the principal source of their income seems to be the inheritance.
