Abstract

[eng] How people talk about the way people dress? - The sociological analysis of behavior in relation to clothes requires nomenclatures which take into consideration the socioculturel characteristics attached to this behavior. To be used in statistical surveys, such nomenclatures cannot be based only on a relatively stable correspondance between the vocabulary used by those who are surveyed and the clothes described. An initial test shows the difficulty of perceiving such a correspondance.
