Abstract

[fre] Après avoir retracé les divers enseignements qu'apportent les sources statistiques, l'article examine les relations entre qualification et salaire dans la convention collective de l'habillement, puis à travers les pratiques de quatre entreprises. La convention collective exclut la prise en compte de l'individu : c'est le poste qui est qualifié ou non, et cela suivant des critères assez faciles à mettre en évidence. Le système de classification pratiqué par les entreprises est un mélange de critères liés au poste et à l'individu. Enfin le système de salaire, notamment par le biais du rendement, est encore plus fondé sur l'individu : son salaire est lié à sa performance et pas seulement au poste de travail qu'il occupe. D'où, au total, une relative déconnection entre classification et salaire. [eng] Skills and Salary in the Garment Industry : a Monographie Approach - After summarizing the information provided by statistical sources, the article examines the relationship between skills and salaries in the collective bargaining agreements in the garment sector, and then in the actual practices of four firms. The collective agreements do not allow for the taking into account of individuals. It is the position itself which is defined as being skilled or not, on the basis of relatively obvious criteria. The system of classification practiced by firms is a mixture of criteria linked to both the position and to the individual. Finally, the system of salaries, especially from the viewpoint of output, is even more strongly based on the individual — his salary is linked to his performance and not only on the position he holds. Thus, on the whole, there is a relative lack of connection between skills and salaries. [spa] Cualificación y salario en el vestido : aproche monografico - Tras traer a la memoria las diversas enseñanzas facilitadas por las fuentes estadisticas, el artículo examina la relación entre cualificación y salario en el convenio colectivo del vestido y a traves de los procedimientos de cuatro empresas. El convenio colectivo excluye la toma en cuenta del individuo : es el cargo el que esta cualificado o no, según conceptos bastante sencillos de evidenciar. El sistema de cualificación puesto en practica por las empresas es un conjunto de conceptos vinculados con el cargo y el individuo. Finalmente, el sistema del salario, especialmente por el rodeo del rendimiento, estriba todavía más en el individuo : su salario esta relacionado con sus cualidades técnicas y no tan solo con el cargo que desempena. Por lo cual, en total, se nota una relativa desconexión entre cualificación y salario.
