Les entreprises françaises sur le marché des grands équipements

Abstract

[fre] Pour préciser les forces et les faiblesses des entreprises françaises sur les grands marchés d'exportation, la direction des Relations économiques extérieures mène depuis trois ans une enquête trimestrielle auprès des « postes de l'expansion économique à l'étranger ». Les premiers résultats, présentés ici, concernent 1 108 marchés civils d'équipement d'un montant unitaire supérieur à 100 millions de F, conclus ou en cours de négociation entre le 1*r janvier 1977 et le 31 décembre 1978, avec les pays en voie de développement et les pays de l'Est. Au cours de cette période, les firmes françaises ont obtenu une adjudication pour quatre soumissions. Si on se limite aux affaires signées au cours de ces deux années, le montant des marchés enlevés par la France atteint 42 % du total soumissionné. Les concurrents sont en général peu nombreux, moins d'une dizaine : dans cette compétition, les prix bas confèrent un avantage décisif, mais l'implantation locale et des références techniques sont des atouts certains. [eng] French Firms Competing on the Major Equipment Market - In view of delineating the strengths and weaknesses of French firms on the major export markets, the direction des Relations économiques extérieures has been carrying out for the past three years a quarterly survey through the « service of economic expansion abroad ». The initial results presented in this issue cover 1103 civilian equipment contracts, each of a value of over 100 million francs, concluded or in the process of négociation between January 1, 1977, and December 31, 1978, with developing countries and the countries of Eastern Europe. During this period, French firms averaged one contract allocated out of each four bids submitted. If only the contracts actually signed during these two years are considered, they amount to 42 % of the total value of the bids. The competitors are generally limited to less than a dozen : in the competition, the ability to bid low is a decisive advantage, a local base and a reputation for technical competence are also of great value. [spa] Las empresas francesas frente a la competencia en el mercado de grandes equipos - Con objeto de especificar el vigor y la flojedad de las empresas francesas en los grandes mercados exportadores, la direction des Relations économiques extérieures lleva a efecto desde hace très anos una encuesta trimestral cerca de los «postes de l'Expansion économique à l'étranger ». Los resultados provisionales presentados aquí tratan de 1108 mercados civiles de equipamiento, cuyo importe unitario supera los 100 milliones de francos, concertados o en vias de negociarse entre el 1° de enero de 1977 y el 31 de diciembre de 1978, con los paises en desarrollo y los países del Este. A lo largo del antecitado periodo, las empresas francesas consiguieron contratas para cuatro licitaciones. Restringiendose a tratos cerrados a lo largo de ambos anos, el importe de los negocios tramitados por Francia asciende a un 42 % del total licitado. Por lo general, los competidores son muy poco numerosos; no Ilegan a diez. En esta competición, la ventaja decisiva es la de precios bajos, mas la implantación local así como referencias técnicas constituyen un indiscutible triunfo.
