Abstract

[eng] A Picture of the Commercial Apparatus - The annual survey for 1978, carried out for commercial firms in 1977, brings to light some interesting results, notably in the areas of sales figures, investment behavior, employment, and commercial buildings and floor space. The division between wholesale and retail business is evident; within the category of retail business, the special problems of large surface outlets, especially in the area of food sales, but also for furniture sales and electrical appliances, become apparent.
