Les liens entre les demandes d'emploi en fin de mois et la population disponible à la recherche d'un emploi

    [fre] II est maintenant bien connu que les instruments statistiques d'observation du chômage sont divers et qu'ils appréhendent en fait, pour chacun d'entre eux, une définition particulière du chômage. Pour approfondir la connaissance du chômage, il faut donc étudier les liens existant entre ces différentes définitions. C'est cette étude qui est conduite dans les lignes qui suivent, à propos des demandes d'emploi en fin de mois, fournies, par le ministère du Travail, et de la population disponible à la recherche d'un emploi mesurée par l'enquête annuelle sur l'emploi de l'INSEE. Cette étude permet, en particulier, de bien saisir pourquoi une partie des demandeurs d'emploi (20% environ) ne se déclarent pas chômeurs à l'enquête de l'INSEE.
