Les revenus fiscaux de 5 000 foyers suivis pendant trois ans

Abstract

[fre] Lors de l'enquête fiscale sur les revenus des ménages en 1965, effectuée, sur un échantillon d'environ 40 000 ménages, avait été entreprise simultanément une étude longitudinale des revenus de 1962 à 1968, à partir d'un sous-échantillon de 5 000 ? ménages extrait de l'échantillon principal. L'objectif était ainsi de suivre, à partir de la source fiscale, l'évolution de leurs revenus en tenant compte de leurs caractéristiques socio-économiques (nombre d'actifs, profession des actifs, situation de famille...) et aussi de leur « histoire » (mariage, naissances, décès, entrées ou, sorties ; d'activité...). L'ensemble de cette étude fera l'objet d'un compte-rendu détaillé dans les Collections de l'INSEE. On se limite ici dans le temps aux années 1966-1967-1968, dans l'espace à un noyau «dur» de foyers pour lesquels la comparaison des revenus d'une année sur l'autre est le moins possible entachée de variations accidentelles. Bien que ces résultats soient anciens et partiels, ils sont suffisamment exemplaires pour illustrer des caractéristiques structurelles mal connues de l'évolution des revenus.
