Contribution à l'étude du prix des voitures d'occasion

Abstract

[fre] Le prix des voitures d'occasion fait l'objet de cotations publiées régulièrement dans les journaux de l'automobile. Un recours à ces cotations a permis d'établir un indice du prix des voitures d'occasion, pour quatre modèles et suivant l'âge des voitures» Si l'on désire remonter assez loin dans le temps, il arrive que le modèle étudié n'existe pas à la date considérée ; d'où la nécessité de procéder à des raccords, c'est-à-dire de trouver des modèles de voiture semblables, mais de fabrication plus ancienne. Depuis 1952, on enregistre une baisse du prix des voitures d'occasion, baisse allant de 0 à 30 %. Pour l'ensemble des quatre modèles étudiés, la baisse moyenne de 1952 à 1956 atteint 15 % pour les voitures de moins de quatre ans, et 25 % pour les voitures de plus de cinq ans.
