Abstract

[fre] Lors du recensement général de la population de mai 1954, toute personne résidant en France devait remplir un bulletin individuel. Certaines questions de ce bulletin s'adressaient aux personnes sans travail et il a ainsi été possible : . 1° De distinguer les personnes qui avaient déjà travaillé de celles qui cherchaient un emploi pour la première fois, question 25 : Avez-vous déjà travaillé ? (Oui — Non); . 2° De connaître leur qualification professionnelle, question 24 : Quel est votre métier (ou votre profession) ? . 3° D'être renseigné également sur la durée du chômage, question 26 : Depuis combien de temps cherchez-vous du travail ? . Le dépouillement complet des bulletins requèrera encore un certain temps ; un sondage au vingtième a permis d'obtenir les résultats présentés ici.
