Abstract

[fre] Le tungstène est un métal essentiellement utilisé pour la fabrication d'aciers spéciaux. En raison de son emploi par l'industrie d'armements, son marché a été extrêmement sensible aux événements internationaux, et pendant les périodes de guerre les prix ont atteint des niveaux exceptionnels, cette hausse étant suivie d'effondrements spectaculaires. . Le minerai chinois est de loin le plus abondant et le plus facile à exploiter. Toutefois, les obstacles à l'approvisionnement dans ce pays, qui se sont manifestés pour des motifs divers, ont rendu nécessaire la mise en exploitation de mines plus ou moins marginales, ce qui a contribué à accroître encore davantage les états de tension qui caractérisent le marché du tungstène.
