Abstract

[fre] La situation de la péninsule indienne et des pays d'Extrême-Orient du point de vue démographique pose un des problèmes fondamentaux de l'époque actuelle, et des plus lourds de conséquences pour l'avenir du Monde. . S'il est encore relativement facile d'analyser les causes de l'état de surpopulation où vivent actuellement les peuples d'Asie, il est extrêmement difficile de proposer des remèdes efficaces. . L'étude suivante, due à M. J. Royer, Administrateur à l'I.N.S.E.E., Chargé des Affaires Statistiques du Commissariat de France en Indochine, résume un certain nombre d'observations, faites en partie sur place, et relatives aux problèmes démographiques asiatiques.
