Abstract

[fre] Le trait le plus saillant de la vie économique du Danemark, dont l'économie a relativement peu souffert de la guerre, reste la prédominance de l'agriculture sous ses formes les plus intensives et les plus perfectionnées. L'effectif du cheptel est demeuré très élevé par rapport au nombre total d'habitants. Comme avant la guerre, le Danemark se place parmi les principaux exportateurs de beurre, de lard et d'oeufs. Ces produits étant particulièrement recherchés sur les marchés mondiaux, il en résulte que le Danemark éprouve moins de difficultés que beaucoup d'autres pays à réorganiser son commerce extérieur. Ses importations dépassent cependant encore ses exportations et il a dû solliciter l'octroi de crédits : il a, d'ores et déjà, obtenu des U.S.A. un prêt de 125 millions de dollars et de la Suède un crédit de 200 millions de couronnes. Les livraisons de charbon au Danemark sont cependant encore trop faibles pour qu'il ait pu retrouver le niveau de sa production industrielle d'avant-guerre.
