Energetická politika Evropské unie a její dopady na trh s elektřinou

Abstract

Evropská energetická politika vychází z energetických balíčků, které obsahují závazná pravidla zvyšování energetické účinnosti, snižování emisí skleníkových plynů a navyšování podílu obnovitelných zdrojů. Tyto cíle se Evropské unii jako celku daří plnit, nicméně existují rozdíly mezi jednotlivými členskými zeměmi, jejichž strategický přístup k vlastnímu energetickému mixu se liší. Článek ve svém úvodu představuje rámce cílů pro energetickou politiku a navazuje v hodnocení jejich plnění jednotlivými zeměmi v jednotlivých složkách energií. Druhá část článku poté zkoumá dopady této politiky na oblast výroby elektřiny a integrace evropského trhu s elektřinou. V důsledku plnění stanovených cílů dochází k postupnému nahrazovaní zdrojů produkujících vysoké množství skleníkových plynů obnovitelnými zdroji, což s sebou nese zvyšující se nároky na přenosovou soustavu a prohlubování integrace národních trhů s elektřinou a navyšování přeshraničních kapacit pro přenos elektřiny.
