Comparison of Economic Diplomacy Management in Europe[Komparace systémů fungování a řízení ekonomické diplomacie ve vybraných evropských státech]

The article deals with the very topical issue, with economic diplomacy. For small to medium-sized economies such as the Czech Republic, a system of its management, priority setting and achieving goals, represents a key element for the functioning of the whole economy. Need for a deeper focus on economic diplomacy was also caused by the recent developments in the world economy, which is increasingly reflected in the phenomenon of globalization. Economic relations among countries are becoming more complex and actors gain an increasingly important role in international economic relations (eg. international organizations, NGOs, transnational corporations) and the states had definitively ceased to be the only actors on issues of world economy. In the CR, there are bottlenecks in management and institutional structure of economic diplomacy. From the above-mentioned reasons, the theme of the article was focused on comparison of other states (Austria, Germany, Finland and France).
