Author

  • Eva Kislingerová

Abstract

The paper points to some new aspects in the evolution of the world's economy, where mainly the use of so far unknown or disregarded financial tools leads to brand new situations on various markets and to qualities generally called deformation of the markets. The paper also defines new, unexpected and so far unknown risks appearing in that context. Furthermore, the author raises the question whether the increase in quantity and importance of asymmetric information in the world economy and in individual markets can be one of the essential aspects of development in recent months. In that respect, the paper joins the discussion about some aspects of the world economy in the past few years and mainly in thefirst half of 2008.
