Dezvoltare urbana inteligenta (DUI)

Abstract

Modelele de dezvoltare urbana precum si aspectele de natura economica care au stat la baza aparitiei acestora sunt amplu analizate in egala masura atat de teoretici precum si de practicieni. Evolutia tehnologica, dezvoltarea sistemelor informatice si utilizarea acestora in furnizarea serviciilor publice prin dezvoltarea unor aplicatii cu functii specifice urbane, sunt considerate ca fiind elementele ce au stat la baza aparitiei conceptului de oras inteligent. In prezent ne afla in fata unei noi provocari, generata de posibilitatea extinderii aplicatiilor informatice cu specific urban la nivelul sistemelor urbane, evolutie ce ar facilita interconectarea si calibrarea acestora, fapt ce ar permite in opinia autorului o noua etapa in dezvoltarea urbana - dezvoltarea urbana inteligenta. Lucrarea de fata isi propune sa aduca in atentia cercetatorilor si practicienilor posibilitatea aparitiei unei noi etape a dezvoltarii urbane - dezvoltarea urbana inteligenta, incercand in egala masura sa analizeze, prin raportare la strategiile de dezvoltare ale oraselor mici si mijlocii din Romania, care este stadiul actual de dezvoltare si in ce masura o astfel de etapa a dezvoltarii urbane poate fi realizata intr-un orizont de timp relativ scurt.
