Abstract

Orasul inteligent reprezinta un motor al transformarilor, un adevarat generator de solutii, dovedind ca se comporta intr-un mod inteligent. Lucrarea prezinta o abordare teoretica a notiunii de oras inteligent din perspectiva inovarii si adaptarii la schimbarile mediului. Pentru a face fata acestor provocari, orasele inteligente trebuie sa elaboreze politici si strategii de dezvoltare centrate pe infrastructura tehnologica, pe dezvoltarea parteneriatelor public-privat. Asigurarea unei dezvoltari durabile si calitatea vietii reprezinta preocupari importante pentru orasele moderne. Ca studiu de caz luam municipiul Sibiu, deoarece o astfel de preocupare o au si autoritatile din acest municipiu, care incearca sa dobandeasca pentru Sibiu, statutul de oras inteligent prin politicile promovate, adaptarea si dezvoltarea unor servicii noi si performante.
