Accesul persoanelor vârstnice la oras

Abstract

Imbatranirea populatiei, la nivel global, este o certitudine. Avand in vedere dezirabilitatea imbatranirii active (tinand cont de impactul social si economic al acestei strategii), regandirea orasului in termenii incluziunii si accesului persoanelor varstnice trebuie sa devina o prioritate pentru toate guvernarile locale si nationale. Orasele trebuie sa adopte masuri urgente de facilitare a accesului persoanelor imbatranite la oras, masuri care vor asigura accesul nediscriminatoriu atat al persoanelor varstnice, cat si al persoanelor cu dizabilitati la un trai decent.
