Abstract

In recent years, the whole world has become increasingly complex, marked by unrest of all kinds and subjected to very rapid climate change. This state of affairs brings with it both opportunities and challenges. Thus, in this context, the European Union as a whole has set out to strengthen its role in this changing environment. The Member States are determined to shape the future world in order to promote the interests of our citizens, businesses and societies and to protect our way of life. In this article we will present how Romania has harmonized its national legislation on the environment to the European regulations.
