Abstract

Le développement durable constitue la forme de croissance économique qui satisfait aux besoins de la société relatives à la richesse à court, moyen et long terme. Il est fondé sur le principe selon lequel le développement doit répondre aux besoins présents sans péricliter les besoins des générations à venir. Afin de mesurer et de se former une image correcte relative au développement durable il faut développer dans ce domaine un système statistique. Afin d’établir un système d’indicateurs qui peuvent aider à suivre le développement durable de notre pays (la Roumanie), il faut se rapporter aux objectifs prévus dans la Stratégie Nationale pour le Développement Durable, dans la Stratégie de développement de la Roumanie « Horizon 2025 » et dans d’autres documents programmatiques adoptés au niveau national et également à la Stratégie de développement Durable de l’Union Européenne adopté en 2001 à Göteborg.
