Abstract

Muito se tem dito e escrito sobre o domínio da visão industrialista no quadro de análise do fenómeno inovatório. Parece, no entanto, ser concedida pouca atenção à inovação tecnológica no contexto específico dos serviços e, em particular, no domínio dos serviços financeiros e bancários. Nesse sentido, a questão central que orientou o fluxo de investigação relaciona-se com o estudo das tendências evolutivas do sistema português, tendo em consideração o contributo da inovação tecnológica para a sua modernização e desenvolvimento. Na sua essência, o ensaio desenvolvido pretende contribuir para uma melhor compreensão da recente dinâmica tecnológica no sector em Portugal e do consequente impacto no respectivo contexto competitivo. Desse modo, o programa de investigação traduz-se na recolha, tratamento e interpretação das opiniões de membros de um painel de especialistas já sensibilizados para a importância dos SI/TI no sector em análise.
