Abstract

Apresentam-se considerações sobre a situação actual e perspectivas possíveis para a fiscal idade portuguesa. A fiscalidade é matéria fortemente controversa, que motiva estudiosos e profissionais e também os que nela se vêem beneficiados ou prejudicados - uns receiam e outros desejam mudanças. A nossa posição é de alguma descrença, atentando em experiências passadas e na convicção das dificuldades reais em propor e em executar reformas mais adequadas. É que soluções mais justas são menos eficientes. Se se buscam as soluções de minúcia provoca-se complexidade. Se, ao invés, se busca a simplificação cai - se em iniquidades. Este breve artigo é, assim, manifestação da amargura sentida pelo Autor por verificar impossibilidades de alcançar uma melhor fiscalidade.
