Support and counselling for SME's

Abstract

The importance of the existence of a significant number of dynamic and profitable SMEs, is unanimously recognized by specialists in economic theory and the global experience demonstrates the role of SMEs in the promotion of economic and social development. In this context, providing the tools to support the setting up and the development of small and medium sized businesses represents an essential activity. Thus, the present paper introduces business incubators, industrial parks and business counselling as some of the support structures for SMEs.
