Abstract

The subject matter of the following summary concerns the company restructuring in the context of factors determining its completion. The research of the analyzed thematic area identified various factors that determine the success of a company’s restructuring process. Some claim that these involve changes in a company’s surroundings that make the main stimulator for making such decisions. Others pointed out to the inefficient and ineffective model of organization as the main barrier for the completion of the strategic changes. In conclusion, we compiled the chosen stimulators and barriers for restructuring processes (based on the literature and experience of the chosen European countries) and estimated their influence on the completion of the restructuring process.
