Epicarmo Corbino e gli Annali di economia (Epicarmo Corbino and the Annali of the economy)

Abstract

This article highlights the libertarian elements in Corbino’s economic and political conception. It is mainly based on Corbino’s Annali dell’economia italiana. Corbino emerges as a libertarian full of esprit de système. In his conception laissez-faire is treated as an absolute. That differs sharply with the view of laissez-faire that we can find in Einaudi, inspired by the latter’s esprit de finesse.
