Abstract

The article deals with the consideration on Sismondi’s intellectual work by Francesco Ferrara – the main Italian economist of Risorgimento – in his prefaces of «Biblioteca dell’economista». In these introductory notes we can find strict criticism as well as the sharing of some theoretical positions and a partial revaluation of the Helvetian author in comparison with J.-B. Say and the classical economic school.
