Abstract

This paper aims to give a realistic view of how one of Germany’s most international universities strives to be more distinctive in its offer of high quality international education. It outlines the importance of having a balanced, that is, both a qualitative and quantitative approach to internationalisation. Finally, it underlines the crucial role of quality management in helping to achieve sustainability and to present clear outcome measures with respect to internationalisation.
