Gasto público y crowding out en una economía en desarrollo

Abstract

Este trabajo desarrolla un sencillo modelo de espíritu keynesiano para mostrar algunos mecanismos de trasmisión de “crowding out” en una pequena economía abierta. Es necesario reconocer, sin embargo, que los resultados obtenidos tienen carácter preliminar pues los multiplicadores no presentan siempre signos definitivos y por lo general, los efectos dependen de muchos parametros y condiciones. El modelo, con las limitaciones que tiene -y que conscientemente trato de explicar- espero constituya una útil aproximacion al problema del “crowding out”, tema sobre el cual la investigación en el Perú es incomprensiblemente inexistente.
