Abstract

Es casi un lugar común en este país relacionar causalmente estos desa- rrollos con las politicas de estabilización. Supongamos, sin embargo, que es- tas politicas consistiesen sólo en una radical devaluación, abstrayendo todos los demas instrumentos fiscales, monetarios y comerciales realmente manipu- lados. De esta forma, el quinto rasgo estilizado que resumiria la experiencia de este periodo sería la depreciación del tipo de cambio.
