U.S. Participation in East-West Industrial Cooperation Agreements

Abstract

The article summarizes and interprets basic statistical findings regarding the magnitude and pattern of U.S. industrial participation in the USSR and Eastern Europe under so-called East-West industrial cooperation agreements. The findings are based on the authors' survey of U.S. firms, conducted on behalf of the U.S. Department of Commerce.© 1977 JIBS. Journal of International Business Studies (1977) 8, 17–30
