Abstract

The article investigates the effects of climate change on agriculture in Kenya. It further acknowledges efforts that have been made to address the issues of climate change in Kenya taking into account existing international frameworks. This includes policies that have been passed at the national and county level that support addressing the issues of climate change. Through scanning the opportunities that come with climate change, the article recommends strengthening youth engagements in addressing the effects of climate change through innovations and by further creating an enabling environment. It also recommends the need to harness the energy and ideas within young people and finally, the article calls for the government to support the establishment of sustainable partnerships that support actions from the youth towards addressing effects of climate change.
