Imagen del destino entre partes interesadas y turistas: ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, México

Abstract

El manuscrito explora la imagen percibida por los agentes estratégicos de la actividad turística de la ciudad de Hermosillo y de los visitantes reales a la comunidad. Para ello se ha planteado la cuestión: ¿Cuál es la imagen que perciben los turistas de la ciudad de Hermosillo con relación a los atributos y experiencias durante su estancia en el destino? Es así como se desarrollan los apartados marco referencial y marco contextual, que permiten profundizar en la imagen del destino, las partes interesadas (stakeholders) y los atributos de la localidad. Además, la aproximación metodológica es mixta y se apoya en entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a los prestadores de servicios turísticos y en un cuestionario aplicado a los visitantes a la comunidad, tanto a turistas como a excursionistas. Se concluye en la existencia de la correlación entre las variables experiencia durante la visita de los turistas e imagen de la información recibida del destino, de acuerdo con la prueba de chi-cuadrado.
