El camino hacia una economía verde: el caso de la infraestructura de turismo en áreas naturales protegidas

Abstract

Se examina la definición de economía verde y se analiza el potencial del sector turismo en áreas naturales protegidas para ser un caso exitoso que implementelos principios de este modelo de desarrollo. Para esto se hace énfasis en el marco regulatorio turístico, sobre todo en la sección de infraestructura necesaria para las actividades turísticas en estos territorios, y luego se brindan recomendaciones de política con el objetivo de eliminar los incentivos perversos presentes en la normativa actual, los cuales podrían amenazar la conservación de los recursos naturales y de los servicios ecosistémicos que estos brindan a la sociedad.
