Políticas públicas, disponibilidad de capital e internacionalización de empresas en América Latina: los casos de Argentina, Brasil y Chile

Abstract

Recientemente el fenómeno de la internacionalización de empresas desde países en vías de desarrollo ha tomado un nuevo impulso. A través de un análisis cualitativo de tres países de América Latina, se intenta contribuir al estudio de dicho fenómeno conectando la internacionalización con la disponibilidad de capital y el rol del Estado para incrementar este bien. Se han encontrado formas directas e indirectas de fomentar la disponibilidad del capital. Brasil es el país en donde ha habido políticas más activas para promover la disponibilidad de capital y el que posee un mayor número de empresas internacionalizadas. Chile tuvo resultados favorables con políticas indirectas dirigidas a fortalecer el mercado de capitales. Argentina no tuvo políticas consistentes y obtuvo magros resultados.
