El rostro familiar de los nuevos global players: la gran empresa familiar en México, Brasil y China en el siglo XXI

Abstract

Los grandes gigantes empresariales están surgiendo con fuerza en las economías emergentes. A pesar de ello, pocos estudios han analizado, con rigor, el elevado control familiar existente en un gran número de estos gigantes y su relevancia económica. El presente artículo presenta primeros resultados de una base de datos en curso elaborada en la Universidad de Barcelona que incluye de momento a las mayores empresas familiares de México, Brasil y China y cuyo objetivo es identificar quiénes son los clanes familiares que las controlan y algunos de los factores relevantes que explican su peso e influencia.
