Abstract

En este artículo el autor presenta un valioso documento escrito por el General Guillermo Miller sobre un viaje que éste hiciera, en julio de 1835, al este de Cusco. A juicio del autor el documento tiene un especial valor no sólo por las observaciones que Miller vierte en él, sino también porque contribuye la evidencia de uno de los primeros intentos colonizadores de la selva peruana que se hiciera en el temprano siglo XIX.
