La semiótica en el Perú

Abstract

En el desarrollo de la semiótica peruana, tenemos dos etapas claramente diferenciadas, una primera que va de los años 1970 a 1975, que podría denominarse de extensión pedagógica de la disciplina semiótica, y la segunda comprendida entre los años 1975 a 1980 de afianzamiento investigatorio. En vista del programa previsto para los próximos años, se anuncia una tercera etapa que reunirá tanto la actividad académica y de extensión universitaria, como la profundización de la investigación orientada hacia la formulación de una teoría y una práctica semiótica, cada vez más adecuada a la comprensión de los objetos de conocimiento semiótico producidos por la multilingüe y pluricultural sociedad peruana.
