Abstract

The study approaches a very up-to-date set of issues within the current globalization context that is the role the culture plays in the life of a nation and the implications of the national culture over organisations and the manner of conducting businesses. Existent links between national culture, organizational culture and organisations management are seen through the perspective of the shifts which currently take place in the global context of trading businesses. Nowadays organisations have surpassed the national action frames and they operate globally, being in the position to approach problems on a completely different level. One of the issues faced by multinational companies is the one related to cultural differences which arise at the time of starting a business in various countries; they have managers and employees belonging to different nationalities and cultures.
