Abstract

Warehouse Logistics Management involves the management of storage facilities and equipment, stock, employees and technology with the aim of efficient storage, accommodation, and distribution of goods and more importantly profitably. In conditions of economic crisis and lower inventory turns, logistics managers put emphasis on those measures as a function of storage logistics cost reductions that require minimal investment. Accordingly, the fundamental objective of this scientific paper is to explore the possibility to reduction in warehouse logistics costs, without reducing service to customers in an effort to stay cost-competitive in the market place. To prove the hypothesis about the cost of warehousing logistics as an essential factor of successful business enterprises have applied scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction and mathematical methods. The obtained findings are based on the analysis of practical business examples, and represent the basic principles to optimize the cost of warehousing operations in more efficient manners in terms of the economic crisis.
