Educación intercultural y rediseño curricular ante los desafíos socioculturales actuales

Abstract

Este estudio investiga la relación entre educación intercultural y rediseño curricular ante los desafíos socioculturales actuales. Mediante un diseño de métodos mixtos que integra análisis bibliométrico en Scopus (N=92 documentos), estudio de casos múltiples (n=5 instituciones educativas en América Latina) y entrevistas semiestructuradas con 48 actores educativos, se examinan las dimensiones, barreras y prácticas de rediseño curricular intercultural. Los resultados identifican cuatro dimensiones clave según el modelo de Banks: integración de contenido (87.5%), construcción del conocimiento (83.3%), pedagogía de la equidad (79.2%) y reducción de prejuicios y empoderamiento (75.0%). Las principales barreras incluyen currículos nacionales monoculturales (91.7%), formación docente intercultural insuficiente (87.5%) y resistencia institucional (79.2%). Se concluye que el rediseño curricular intercultural requiere trascender enfoques aditivos y celebratorios hacia transformaciones profundas en las estructuras curriculares, la formación docente y las culturas escolares.
