Dinámicas de memoria colectiva e identidad cultural en sociedades latinoamericanas

Abstract

Este estudio analizó las dinámicas de memoria colectiva e identidad cultural en tres sociedades latinoamericanas (Argentina, Perú y Guatemala) mediante un enfoque cualitativo con entrevistas semiestructuradas (n=24), grupos focales (n=6) y análisis documental de museos de la memoria, comisiones de verdad y planes educativos. Los resultados revelaron tres ejes principales: tensiones generacionales en la transmisión memorialística, disparidad entre narrativas institucionales y memorias subalternas indígenas y campesinas, y la emergencia de un panteón memorialístico supranacional anclado en figuras emblemáticas como las Madres de Plaza de Mayo. Se concluye que las memorias colectivas en América Latina operan simultáneamente en registros locales fragmentados y en un sustrato identitario supranacional que desafía los marcos nacionalistas predominantes, configurando una ciudadanía memorialística regional como recurso de resistencia frente al negacionismo contemporáneo.
