Humanismo y educación: nuevas interpretaciones teóricas en América Latina

Abstract

Este estudio analiza las nuevas interpretaciones teóricas del humanismo en la educación latinoamericana a partir de una revisión sistemática de artículos indexados en Scopus publicados entre 2020 y 2025. Mediante un enfoque cualitativo hermenéutico-documental, se examinó un corpus de 23 artículos a través de análisis temático. Emergieron tres hallazgos principales: primero, el humanismo educativo latinoamericano se distancia del universalismo eurocéntrico para constituirse como un humanismo situado, anclado en condiciones históricas concretas de desigualdad y diversidad cultural. Segundo, existe una tensión constitutiva entre el discurso institucional y las prácticas curriculares efectivas, aunque experiencias documentadas en Brasil, Colombia, Argentina y México demuestran una integración curricular sustantiva. Tercero, el campo es plural y disputado, donde coexisten aproximaciones fenomenológicas, dialécticas, decoloniales e interculturales.
