Social Economy In Romania – European Perspective

Abstract

In the European Union the social economy named solidarity economy or the third sector it is recognized in the member states and at the European institution level. And so, the social economy represents 10% from the whole European enterprises that mean two millions enterprises and 6% of the whole working places, with a high potential to generate stable work places. In the European Parliament Resolution from 19th of February 2009 regarding the social economy it is said that the models of the social economy has to be capitalized to fulfill the common objectives of the UE polices that regards the economic growth, setting for a job, the formations and the services for the persons (source: A public policy favorable to the development of social economy in Romania , September 9, 2011).
