Le renouveau du nucléaire : un nouveau droit nucléaire ?

Abstract

En avril 2009, 808 participants et observateurs en provenance de 61 États et sept organisations internationales se sont réunis à Pékin lors d’une Conférence internationale ministérielle consacrée à l’énergie nucléaire au 21e siècle1. Elle a été organisée par l’Agence internationale de l’énergie atomique (AIEA) et sponsorisée conjointement par l’Agence de l’OCDE pour l’énergie nucléaire (OCDE/AEN). Dans son discours de clôture, le président de la Conférence a souligné que « la conférence prend note des impulsions positives en faveur de l’énergie nucléaire ainsi que des décisions prises par de nombreux pays développés et émergents de recourir à l’énergie nucléaire2 ». Selon le Directeur général de l’AIEA, plus de 60 pays ont exprimé un intérêt à lancer des programmes nucléaires3.
