Abstract

Les ministres de la coopération pour le développement et les responsables des organismes d'aide se sont retrouvés à Paris les 22 et 23 avril 2003 pour la réunion annuelle à haut niveau du Comité d'aide au développement (CAD). Au moment où la communauté internationale du développement entreprend avec détermination de donner suite aux engagements souscrits à Doha, à Monterrey et à Johannesburg, les participants à la réunion à haut niveau du CAD ont concentré leur attention sur l'amélioration des politiques et des stratégies, des pratiques et des performances, qu'il faut poursuivre en appui à la réalisation des objectifs du millénaire pour le développement (OMD), notamment à travers une réduction massive de la pauvreté. Persévérer dans cette voie est essentiel à un moment où des incertitudes préoccupantes affectent le climat économique et politique international...
