Vaincre la pauvreté grâce au commerce : Quel rôle pour l'aide à l'appui des échanges

Abstract

L’aide au commerce vise à faire des politiques commerciales et des politiques d’aide deux éléments indissociables au service de l’élévation des niveaux de vie et de la lutte contre la pauvreté. Ce rapport démontre en quoi le commerce est important pour stimuler la productivité et la croissance économique. Il souligne également le fait que si de nombreux pays retirent des avantages du commerce, certains ne peuvent pas en tirer pleinement profit. Enfin, le rapport met en évidence la nécessité d’adapter l’intégration économique au contexte national et résume les principales conclusions sur les mesures à prendre ainsi que les bénéfices que peut entraîner le commerce.
