Concurrence, subventions et aides d'État

Abstract

De nombreux secteurs des économies de la zone OCDE sont fortement influencés par des politiques publiques qui offrent un soutien financier, une assistance ou une aide à des entreprises données dans un secteur. Les subventions comme les réglementations peuvent s’avérer aussi bien bénéfiques que préjudiciables, favoriser la prospérité ou créer des distorsions de concurrence, selon les circonstances. Une discussion en table ronde, tenue dans le cadre du Comité de la Concurrence en Février 2001, a traité des subventions qui sont accordées chaque fois qu’une entreprise ou un consommateur se voit accorder un avantage dont le coût est totalement ou partiellement, directement ou indirectement, pris en charge par l’État.
